THE GREAT NOMAD EXPEDITION

Day 1 : Baga gazriin chuluu:

Our tour begins at 08:00am, after enjoying breakfast at the Gobi-Girl hostel in Ulaanbaatar.

We will head to Baga gazriin chuluu, located 250km from UB city. This destination is a picturesque area feeturing granite rock formations surrounded by vast open steppe.

The site lies at an altitude of 1788m above sea level.

For lunch, we will have a delicious meal prepared by your guide, served amidst the stunning natural surroundings.After ward, around at 03:00-04:00pm, we will arrive at our destination-a traditional Mongolian herder's home, guests will stay overnight in a Ger (yurt) specifically set up for visitors.

This area offers peace and tranquility allowing you to enjoy serene hikes among the rocky formations and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.

Day2:  Visit my home:

Today, we're thrilled to welcome you to our cherished family home in the Gobi, a place rich with the heritage of our ancestors.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we'll begin our journey at 09:00am. Along the way, you'll have the chance to admire the vast, untouched beauty of Mongolia's countryside and experience the tranquility of the open landscapes. The day's drive will cover 300km of unpaved roads, offering a true adventure into the heart of the Gobi.Will arrive at the destination in the afternoon, here you will settle into a confortable ger (yurt) specially prepared for our guests.Surrounded by the warmth of a welcoming family atmosphere, you can immerse yourself in the authentic Mongolian nomadic lifestyle and enjoy the serene, peaceful environment of the Gobi.

Day3: Visit a neighboring nomadic family:

After breakfast, we will visit a neighboring herder family located 7km away.There, you'll get a glimpse into the daily life of nomadic herders, actively participate in their tasks, spend an engaging and memorable time with them.

In the afternoon, we'll return to our home base, where special programs prepared just for you await.The evening promisses to be delightful and fiffed with unforgettable moments.

Day4: Camping overnight in wild nature:

Today, we'll cover a total distance of 80km.Our region is renowned for it's unique and diverse natural landscapes, including the saxaul groves of the Gobi, sand dunes, and vast open steppes.

In this peaceful, secluded area far from the crowds, you can freely explore, set up a tent, light a campfire, and enjoy freshly made barbecue.It will be a serene and joyfull day spent in harmony with the beauty of nature.

Day5: Drive to Khongoryn Els ( Khongor sand dune)

This is the largest and most majestic sand dune in the Gobi, reaching a height of 800 meter in some highest area. These dunes are 20km wide and 100km long. The locals call the highest dune as a Singing dunes.Because of the high- pitched airplane engine like sound created by the wind below over the dune.Standing a top the dune, you will be greeted by a breathtaking panorama of endless rolling sand hills.

On calm, sunny days, the dunes glisten in golden hues, creating a masterpiece of nature's artisty.

Climbing the highest dune is a callenge.Climbing to the top, you can slide down Here, we will ride camels a long the edge of the dunes, climb to the top of the sands, and capture stunning photos of the magnificent scenery.Witnessing the sunrise over the dunes is a truly unforgettable experience.In the evening, will stay overnight at ger camp.

Day6: Today we are going to Yolyn Am:

Today, we are visit Yolyn Am, located in the easturn valley of the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan mountains.

This narrow gorge, situated 2800 meters above see level, spans an area of 64 square km.

We will hike approximately 2km into the gorge.

A small stream runs through the valley, which was once covered in ice year-round.However, in recent years, much of the ice has melted due to global warming.The area is home to a variety of medical plants and wild animals, including wild sheep, ibex, snow-leopards, foxes, and wolves.

It's also renowned as the habitat of the lammergeier, or bearded vulture, for witch the gorge is named.

In the afternoon, we will relax and stay at a comfortable tourist camp.

Day7: Our last destination is- Tsagaan Suvarga:

We will depart from the tourist camp, pass through Dalanzadgad to stock up on supplies for dinner, and drive 150km to reach the remarkable  site.

Tsagaan Suvarga is believed to br the remains of an ancient seabed, where layers of day and sediment have eroded oven time form steep clifffs, bluffs, and striking formations.

It rises 60 meters high and stretches over 400 meters, with sheer 90-degree cliffs.From a distance, it resembles the ruins of a city or buildings.

Here, will take a leisurely walk to explore this area, and in the evening.We will set up camp to spend night under a sky full of stars. For the last night of our trip, we invite you to enjoy this unique natural setting and experience the tranquility of camping at Tsagaan Suvarga.

Day8: We'll head back to Ulaanbaatar city and stay at a GobiGirl hostel in the evening.
